Here's an underdiscussed feature of cover songs: attempts at musical faithfulness often reveal that the new performer hears the original piece differently than I (or you) do.

A ghosted note, a little syncopation—they show that two musicians can hear two different pieces in the same recording.

случайно наткнулась на два перфоманса айдл с syncopation (название их последнего концерта) и это такой треш... особенно с nxde нет слов клянусь. это больше было похоже на любительское выступление нежели на действительно подготовленный номер от одних из лидерок 4 поколения
