it was really cool when we saw the spoonbills today, the oldest pointed to a small one with some moulting and not very roseate and said "it looks like Jenny!" 🥰

they still read a book I gave him 7 years ago about Florida wading birds! "Jenny's First Catch" - it's a good one! nonfiction, sort of.
