Was the eye of the blackbird.
I do not know which to prefer,
It was snowing
Even the bawds of euphony
The shadow of his equipage
The beauty of inflections
A man and a woman and a blackbird.

I’m not a language scold, but I can’t abide the sound of “gifted” when “given” is euphonious and right there.
