Did a talk show where guest before me was A.R. and they asked him in green room whether he’d “do the Carlton for us.” Politely demurred, kindly patiently firmly explained this wasn’t the day for it (5am). “No problem at all!” Moment he hit camera they said “do the Carlton!” Of course they did that.
