Witnessed an altercation between a (foreign) taxi driver and some lowlife at the train station earlier tonight. It seems every time you go out in public these days you feel the atmosphere is charged with latent violence. Incidents that would have been rare back in, say 2006, feel alarmingly common.

Having read the Tsar's books in his old palace, I am open to the possibility that the reason why Traveler seems immoral in Snez is due to latent abyssal presence. The only three good things are the death of the 3rd descender, the other deaths of the 3rd, and Pavlina trying to help her people.
