What a conundrum. Danielle Smith is seeking CSIS security clearance. There’s no doubt there are concerns about foreign interference in Alberta’s politics, but if CSIS is repping Canada’s best interests, can Smith be counted on as a good faith partner in national security? Globe & Mail gift article
