Despite the trend for young people to be more abstemious, Cambridge's student political societies still feature alcohol prominently in their events. Conservative students have Port & Policy meetings; for Labour it's Pints & Policy, and the Liberals have Spirited Discussions.

Could not face the now-icy road on the way down to the cabin tonight, and we have people (who I love) coming for the holiday, so it's a cozy solo night of air fryer frozen salmon on rice, a tiny abstemious glass of wine, and to bed early in clean sheets.
