Stipulate

to demand some requirement (that is typically a part of some bargain or agreement)

Very, very good summary of increasing shenanigans in immigration court: The gov’t will not stipulate to ANYTHING, and the “judges” now have four trials a day (up from two). So immigrants have less time to prove more facts and mounting pressure to under-prove them.

I don't run into sad sacks on this platform often, but when I do, it's always a reminder that they're everywhere you go. I can only stipulate what a person who spends all their time online arguing with people must feel deep inside. Probably something akin to a tar pit.

The next joke is called let’s test their commitments to the next generation:

To stipulate what is known well now, as irony.

Womp womp.
