I went to freemason meeting as minor. fell asleep. They were 33rd degree masons. Im not a freemason, nor traitor to Freemasonry, not a traitor to Catholicism because I was never a confirmed catholic. Take it up with my hick parents. I believe in liberty, religious pluralism not truth of christ myth.

One of my lapsed catholic friends had a spreadsheet on his computer called “Now That’s What I Call Mass” that was just a list of hymns he thought were bangers and he wasn’t wrong about most of ‘em

a character in *lives of the saints* is named “mary grace stewart” — classic southern catholic name —
& suddenly remembered a classmate we called stewart or stew but whose name was mary stewart [surname] — & the prof who, bc he was a family friend or godparent, always addressed her as “mary stewart”
