If you want to play a JRPG MMO the only one I can really rec is FFXI.

It's far far superior to FFXIV in every way which feels like it's pale and laconic shadow.

FFXI is the superior Squeanix MMO and the story is fantastic, if you like JRPG nonsense play THAT one instead.
