Watching Ashes to Ashes and not to be pedantic but Gene Hunt just mentioned the A team and that started two years after this is set which is 1981. They could instead have referenced CHiPs which started 4 years earlier.

Pedantic thought: If you ground into an inning ending double play with the bases loaded, you did not "leave the bases loaded."

I has done much to sooth my psyche to read this review and know I wasn't being unduly pedantic about the film's missteps. Made my day.
